Wind and Solar Resource Analysis
My area of expertise is wind and solar resource analysis, including P50, P75 and P90 energy simulations, micrositing and layout of wind turbines and solar arrays, long term correlation, uncertainties, resource extrapolation, data filtering and manipulation, among others.
I have simulated approximately 20GW over diferent states in Brazil, with many different types of wind turbine, solar pannels and projects from the leading companies of the Brazilian energy sector. I have also analysed the data from over 200 met masts and solar stations.
Business and Project Development
I worked in the development of wind and solar projects, since the initial conception of the measurements campaign, basic project design, regulatory approvals in different project stages, registration for energy auctions, liasing with regulatory agencies (ANEEL, EPE, etc) and internal approvals for construction of projects.
With experience in diferent stages of projects, I have a global vision of wind and solar projects and knowledge on how to take a project from zero into operation. Additionally, I analysed the technical aspects of many Merge and Acquire (M&A) opportunities, due dilligences and strategic partnerships.
Programming and Customized Solutions
I can program in C, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, SQL, HTML, among others. I wrote many codes from basic scripts, to optmizing wind resource analysis data processing and to simulations of a hybrid wind farm with energy storage. Leadership and Public Speaking
Along with my experience in presenting proposals and projects to customers and my leadership experience in leading professional, voluenteering and academic teams, I developed my leadership and communication skills at Toastmasters (never heard of Toastmasters?).
